Usually it takes awhile
To get that engine humming
But a Monday morning miracle
Has got us off and running
An angel with a torque wrench under the hood
Yeah, I know that God is good

From out here on this quiet street
Our house looks cut from a magazine
It was falling down when we moved in
Still stretched our savings razor thin

Earned our DIY degrees
In Google home improvement
From greener than the grass out front
To knowing what we were doing
It's still standing knock on wood
That's how I know God is good
